Return to You

A 7-Day Breathing Course for Women Who Have Been There for Everyone Else for Far Too Long

You get a lot done.

You keep track of the appointments, remember what needs to be remembered, and make sure everyday life runs smoothly. At work, at home, and for the people around you.

But when was the last time you paid as much attention to yourself as you do to everyone else?

Perhaps your body feels tired while your mind keeps planning.

Perhaps you sit down to relax, but your thoughts continue running through everything you should have done.

Perhaps you miss feeling truly present in your own life, without the next task already demanding your attention.

Return to You was created for moments like these.

Through seven short sessions, you will have the opportunity to pause, turn your attention inward, and reconnect with something that has always been with you:

Your own breath.

I want to return back to myself again!

You Do Not Have to Wait Until Everything Is Done

It is easy to think:

I will take better care of myself when this busy period is over.

When the project has been delivered.

When the family needs a little less from me.

When all the appointments are behind me.

When life finally becomes calmer.

But often, new tasks simply take their place.

This course invites you to begin in the middle of the life you are already living. Not with major changes or demanding routines, but with a few minutes when you do not need to take care of anything for anyone else.

A few minutes to breathe, listen, and simply be present with yourself.

This is not another thing you need to accomplish. It is a small pause from everything you already accomplish.

Imagine Being Able To...

  • notice that you are becoming overwhelmed before it all becomes too much
  • pause and give yourself a little breathing space
  • recognize more clearly what your body needs
  • release some of the tension you carry throughout the day
  • create a calmer transition from activity to rest
  • meet a busy mind with something other than more thinking
  • give yourself a few minutes without feeling that you should be doing something else
  • return to a simple practice whenever life feels too full

The course will not make all your responsibilities disappear.

But it may help you meet them without losing yourself along the way.

Yes.. I want that little break...

From Autopilot to Awareness

Your breath has been with you throughout your life. It changes with your pace, your thoughts, your emotions, and everything you are experiencing.

Yet you may not know your breath particularly well.

Perhaps you only notice it when you sigh deeply, hold your breath in front of a screen, or realise that your body feels tense.

Throughout the course, you will explore your breath in a gentle and unforced way. You will not be taught to breathe perfectly, and you will not need to correct every breath you take.

Instead, you will practise noticing:

  • how you are breathing right now
  • how your breath responds to what you are experiencing
  • what happens when you gently change its rhythm
  • how your breath returns to its natural rhythm
  • what may help you pause and reconnect with yourself

The goal is not greater control.

The goal is greater connection.

A 7-day journey

A Small Change with Meaningful Value

After seven days, the goal is not to have changed your entire life.

The goal is to have begun noticing yourself again.

Perhaps you will find that you can pause before automatically saying yes.

Perhaps you will notice the tension in your shoulders a little sooner.

Perhaps you will remember to breathe and gather yourself before moving on to the next task.

Perhaps it will become a little easier to move from a demanding day into a quieter evening.

And perhaps you will begin to understand that taking care of yourself does not always require a free afternoon, a holiday, or a perfect daily routine.

Sometimes it begins with one conscious moment.

This Course Is for You If...

  • your mind often feels too full
  • you carry a great deal of responsibility at work, at home, or both
  • you find it difficult to switch off completely
  • you have become accustomed to putting your own needs aside
  • you feel tired from being the person who remembers, plans, and takes care of everything
  • you want more calm, but not another demanding project
  • you want to become more aware of your own signals
  • you need a gentle way to return to yourself

You do not need any previous experience with breathing practices, yoga, or meditation.

You do not need to be good at relaxing.

You only need to arrive as you are.

Seven Gentle Steps Back to You

Each day, you will receive a short guided session that helps you shift your attention from everything happening around you to what is happening within you.

You will move between calming breathing practices, breathing meditations, and quiet periods in which you simply observe your natural breath.

At times, we will gently influence the breath. Afterwards, you will release the technique and notice how your body chooses to breathe when it is allowed to find its own rhythm again.

Moving between guided breathing and natural breathing can make it easier to notice something that may otherwise feel abstract or difficult to sense.

First, you listen. Then, you explore. Finally, you release the technique and listen again.

You Deserve Space in Your Own Life Too

You do not have to wait until everyone else has received what they need.

You do not have to wait until your inbox is empty, your family is satisfied, or your home is perfectly organized.

And you do not have to earn the right to take a break.

You can begin exactly where you are.

Give yourself seven small breathing spaces and the opportunity to reconnect with the person who can so easily become lost among all the roles, responsibilities, and expectations.

I want some time for me!

Who Am I?

My name is Gunnhild Bjørshol. In my professional life, I work with complex structural strength analyses for a large international engineering company.

I am a qualified engineer and an experienced breathwork and yoga teacher. For more than 26 years, I have explored and taught how the breath can be used as a practical tool in everyday life.

I combine many years of teaching experience with my own experience of a demanding professional life, as well as periods when I have needed to pause, reconnect with myself, and find steady ground again.

I do not teach these methods simply because I have studied them. I teach them because I have lived them.
